Central Park Children's Zoo

Took a half day off work and got the family together and went strolling into NYC's Central Park (office is very close by). I had no idea that there is SOOOOOO much to do in Central Park. Of course, we didn't get to do a whole lot, but just have enough time to visit the zoo. It's nice zoo, a bit small, but ok. Would've liked to go down to the pond and rented a boat, but with Joshua, that idea came and went. Here are some shots taken at the zoo.

Total unexpected reactions from the kids

If only I have a DSLR with a good 50/1.7 prime lens, this portrait shot would be much better!

Hey, I think I hear something...

The intensity on Joshua's face... priceless.

Sesame Place

Boy, am I getting lazy?! It's been 20 days since my last update. I've been on a shooting frenzy with the camera that I haven't had the time to process them. Here are some pictures that I took when we went to Sesame Place in Pennsylvannia. Both Crystal and Joshua had a blast!

Getting ready for the trip

Come on, let's go already!

Hey, take me to a kiddie ride, capice?!

Joshua is totally mesmerized by the Oscar show (just happen to be looking at a huge Big Bird character on stage).

All these water makes me wanna...oops.

I'm surrounded by water! How can I ge out of here?

Crystal playing in the water park.

Crystal in a spinning ride (forgot the name) with me. Check out the smile!

Liberty Science Center

Two weekends ago, I took the the family to Liberty Science Center. This is one of the largest science museum in New Jersey. This trip is mainly for Crystal. We wanted her to develop some interests in sciences. This science center covers a lot of area of science; nature sciences, physical sciences, health/biological scienses, environmental sciences and more. Granted, a lot of the subject matter is way over Cystal's head (some even my, too), but she seemed to have enjoyed it nontheless.

Crystal and Joshua . . .Awwww

Too much love...can't breath...need space...must..have..air....

Trip to Space Farm

About three weeks ago, Emily came across a zoo named "Space Farms" on the Internet one day and we decided to check it out. This farm is about an hour and a half away from us. To our dismay, the farm (zoo, whatever) wasn't "all that". That name "Space" lured my into it and I thought the farm had some sort of space theme. As it turned out, "Space" is the just the last name of the owner! Oh well, this just goes to show you that don't buy into advertisement! Here are some nice shots of the kids on a rather disappointed trip.

I think Joshua had a great time!

Not so sure about Crystal...
