Joshua's 2 Weeks Hospital Experience

Around mid October, Joshua came down with some serious and puzzling illness that had him fevering on and off for two weeks. The fever went as high as 104°. After visiting THREE hospitals, several teams of doctors and each hospital, 2 infectious disease specialists, several X-Rays and countless blood drawn, there is no definitive answer as to what caused Joshua's illness. Finally, at the 3rd hospital, the infectious disease specialist put him on some strong antibiotics and concluded that it MIGHT be some virus infection coupled with some bacteria infection. What kinds of B.S. conclusion was that? Even I know the 2 types of infection and I didn't go to medical school. Anyway, I came across these pictures of Joshua taken in the 2 hospitals that he stayed in(the first one didn't admit him...).

Our First Christmas Lights!

This year, we finally broke down and decorated outside of the house with Christmas lights. Didn't really want to do it, because it was really a pain to
get them up in the roof. But the invisible pressure from the neighbors finally pushed me to it. Here are some pics.

WOW! It's been awhile hasn't it?!

I can't believe it been more than 3 months since my last post to the site! Shame on me! Well, actually, I've been quite busy with work and *cough* parties and I also just started graduate school with University of Pheonix . On top of those, I have not had a camera for awhile. I have sold my cherished Konica Minolta A2 and did not get a new one for about 2 months. Finally, I decided on a Konica Minolta 5D about a month ago. Why Konica Minolta and not Canon or Nikon? Because I like the underdogs. Beside, I think Konica Minolta cameras has better skin color renderings(I can just see the flamming comments flying). I'm totally impress with the 5D with its built-in Anti-Shake onto the camera. This means, virtually any lens I put on the 5D camera is stabilized! Did I said ANY LENS?! YES! Without the premium like the Canons IS lenses or the Nikon VR lenses. Anyways, I have a camera once again and I'm really to take more pictures! Here are some examples. Hope you like them!
